Introduction
Welcome to FluffMind.
These terms of use govern the use of the FluffMind app, the website, the AI services, the chat, the credits/tokens system, advertising and any other related FluffMind service.
Using the app constitutes full acceptance of these terms of use, the Privacy Policy and the Disclosure of FluffMind. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the app.
1. What FluffMind Is
FluffMind is an AI-based app designed to help dog and cat owners better understand their pet.
The app may provide general insights on topics such as:
- body language of dogs and cats;
- possible emotional state;
- identification or estimation of breed characteristics;
- general questions about nutrition and food safety;
- general health-related signs;
- AI chat with Fluffly AI;
- general recommendations for interacting with your pet.
The service is intended for general, educational and entertainment information only.
2. Not Veterinary Advice
FluffMind is not a veterinarian, is not a veterinary clinic, is not an emergency service, is not a medical diagnostic tool and is not a substitute for professional examination.
The information in the app, including AI responses, image analysis, video analysis, chat responses or general recommendations — does not constitute diagnosis, treatment, prescription, binding medical recommendation, care instructions or professional veterinary advice.
In any situation of doubt, pain, injury, abnormal behavioral change, difficulty breathing, vomiting, severe diarrhea, convulsions, weakness, bleeding, suspected poisoning, or any other worrying sign — contact a licensed veterinarian or an emergency veterinary service.
Do not delay contacting a veterinarian because of a response you received in the app.
3. Limitations of the Artificial Intelligence
FluffMind uses AI models from third-party providers, including Google/Gemini and DeepSeek.
AI responses may be:
- incorrect;
- partial;
- inaccurate;
- unsuitable for the specific case;
- based on incorrect recognition of an image, video or text;
- affected by the quality of the image, lighting, angle, noise or the information you provided;
- phrased with confidence even when they are not correct.
You must exercise independent judgment and not rely on the app as the sole source for making decisions about your pet.
4. User Responsibility
Use of FluffMind is at your sole responsibility.
You acknowledge and understand that:
- you are responsible for any content you upload or send to the app;
- you are responsible for verifying the responses received;
- you are responsible for decisions you make as a result of using the app;
- you are responsible for consulting a professional when required;
- FluffMind is not responsible for damage, loss, harm, an incorrect decision, delay in care or reliance on an AI response.
5. Fair Use of the App
You undertake to use FluffMind only in a reasonable, fair and lawful manner.
You must not use the app in order to:
- circumvent credits or tokens limits;
- fake ad views;
- manipulate balances;
- attempt to hack, circumvent or modify the Firebase, Firestore, Cloudflare Worker, AdMob or any other system;
- perform automated, mass, robotic or commercial use without authorization;
- overload the servers or the AI services;
- perform reverse engineering, scraping, extraction or any attempt to copy the system;
- use the app for any unlawful, harmful, abusive, misleading or immoral purpose.
FluffMind may limit, block, suspend, delete or reset access in the event of abuse, suspected fraud, circumvention of limits, abnormal use or breach of these terms.
6. Content That Must Not Be Sent to the AI
You must not send to the app or to the AI services any content that is unlawful, abusive, harmful, harassing, sexual, violent, threatening, inciting, racist, degrading, misleading or inappropriate.
In particular, you must not send:
- sexual or pornographic content;
- sexual content related to minors;
- content that encourages harm to humans or animals;
- content that depicts animal abuse;
- content intended to obtain instructions for harming animals;
- content intended to conceal an offense, abuse or neglect;
- content that includes personal or sensitive information of another person without permission;
- images or videos of people without their consent;
- personal documents, ID cards, passports, credit cards or confidential information;
- content that infringes copyrights, trademarks or third-party rights;
- content intended to mislead the system or cause it to produce prohibited information.
FluffMind may block usage, restrict access or delete information in the event of a breach of this section, to the extent possible and in accordance with the service policy.
7. Content You Upload
When you upload an image, video, text, question, note or any other content, you represent that:
- you have the right to use this content;
- the content does not infringe the rights of others;
- the content is not unlawful or abusive;
- you understand that the content may be sent to external AI providers for processing;
- you understand that you should not send personal, sensitive, confidential or identifying information that is not necessary for using the app.
You grant FluffMind a limited permission to use the content you sent solely for the purpose of operating the service, processing the request, generating an AI response, security, preventing abuse and improving the user experience, in accordance with the privacy policy.
8. Guest Mode and Anonymous Identifier
FluffMind may allow use in guest mode via Firebase Anonymous Authentication.
In this mode an anonymous technical identifier is created, used to manage:
- access to the app;
- credits;
- chat tokens;
- acceptance of the terms of use and privacy policy;
- prevention of abuse;
- verification of rewarded ads.
Guest mode is not a permanent personal account. If you delete the app, clear app data, switch devices or delete the profile — some local information or access to that identifier may be lost.
9. Information Stored Locally
Some of the information in the app may be stored locally on the device only, such as a display name, pet details, preferences, language, design or local history.
FluffMind does not undertake to restore information stored locally in the event of app deletion, device reset, data clearing, malfunction, device switch or profile deletion.
10. Credits, Cats and Chat Tokens
FluffMind may use a credits, Cats or chat tokens system to manage the use of AI services.
Credits and tokens:
- are not money;
- are not a digital currency;
- are not convertible to money;
- are not transferable between users;
- do not grant any property right;
- may change, be updated, reset or limited at FluffMind's discretion.
FluffMind may change at any time the amount of credits, the way credits are obtained, the cost of using features, usage limits, or the rewards policy.
11. Rewarded Ads
The app may allow you to receive credits or tokens by watching rewarded ads.
The reward is granted only after completing a view and valid verification against the ad systems and the server.
A reward may not be granted if:
- the ad was not completed;
- the ad did not load;
- there was a technical malfunction;
- the view was detected as duplicate;
- suspicious activity was detected;
- AdMob or the ad provider did not approve the reward;
- there was a network, server, signature or verification issue;
- the reward was blocked due to policy, abuse or malfunction.
FluffMind does not undertake that ads will be available at all times, in every country, on every device or for every user.
12. Advertising and Funding the Service
FluffMind may display advertisements, including standard ads, native ads and rewarded ads.
Advertising helps fund the app's operation, cover the costs of AI models, image and video processing, servers, cloud services, security, maintenance and development, and allow some features to be available for free.
External ad providers, such as Google AdMob, may process technical information and advertising data in accordance with their policies.
13. Third-Party Services
FluffMind uses or may use third-party services, including:
- Firebase;
- Firestore;
- Firebase Authentication;
- Google/Gemini AI;
- DeepSeek AI;
- Google AdMob;
- Cloudflare Worker;
- additional cloud, storage, security, monitoring or infrastructure services.
Use of these services is also subject to the terms and privacy policies of those providers.
FluffMind is not responsible for the policies, availability, actions, data processing or decisions of third-party providers.
14. Service Availability
FluffMind may be unavailable from time to time due to maintenance, malfunctions, load, provider limitations, AI errors, network issues, regional blocks, advertising limitations or other reasons.
There is no undertaking that the service will be available, continuous, accurate, fast, secure or error-free at all times.
15. Profile Deletion or Data Reset
The app may allow deletion of a guest profile or resetting the app's data.
Profile deletion may delete the technical user document on the server and disconnect the user from the app.
However, FluffMind may retain certain records even after deletion, when this is required or reasonable for the purpose of:
- proof of acceptance of the terms of use;
- security;
- preventing fraud or abuse;
- handling disputes;
- complying with legal requirements;
- proper management of the service.
Profile deletion does not guarantee deletion of information already sent to AI, advertising or third-party providers, which are subject to their policies.
16. Intellectual Property
All rights in the app, the FluffMind name, the design, the logo, the interface, the code, the texts, the structure, the screens, the content, the business models and any other original component — belong to FluffMind or its owners, unless stated otherwise.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, sell, modify, publish, disassemble, reverse engineer or use FluffMind components without prior written permission.
17. No Guarantee of Outcome
FluffMind does not undertake that every analysis will be correct, that every response will be useful, that every recognition will be accurate, that every ad will grant a reward, or that every feature will suit your needs.
The app is provided as is and as available.
18. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FluffMind, its owners, operators, employees, providers or anyone on their behalf shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damage, including but not limited to:
- decisions made as a result of an AI response;
- delay in contacting a veterinarian;
- error in recognizing the pet's condition;
- loss of local information;
- loss of credits or tokens;
- ad malfunction;
- unavailability of the service;
- action of a third-party provider;
- improper or unlawful use of the app.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
19. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and defend FluffMind, its owners, operators and providers against any claim, demand, damage, loss, liability, cost or expense arising from:
- your use of the app;
- breach of these terms of use;
- content you uploaded;
- infringement of third-party rights;
- unlawful or unfair use;
- reliance by you or another on information received from the app.
20. Changes to the Terms
FluffMind may update these terms of use from time to time.
In the event of a material change, you may be required to re-accept the terms of use or privacy policy before continuing to use the app.
Continued use of the app after the terms are updated constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
21. Termination or Restriction of Use
FluffMind may restrict, suspend or terminate access to the app, in whole or in part, at any time, in the event of:
- breach of the terms of use;
- abuse;
- an attempt to circumvent limits;
- suspicious activity;
- a legal requirement;
- a security risk;
- service discontinuation or a business change.
22. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms of use shall be governed by the law applicable in the State of Israel, unless another law applies on a mandatory basis.
Any dispute relating to the app or these terms shall be adjudicated before the competent courts under the applicable law.
